KUALA LUMPUR – In light of the evolving COVID-19 situation, Manulife Malaysia is helping employees and customers to stay safe and resilient with a number of initiatives, including facilitating vaccination and providing extra days off for employees, and offering financial assistance to customers.
Through Malaysia’s National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme, Manulife Malaysia is supporting employees and their family members who have not received their vaccination to get vaccinated more conveniently at prearranged clinics and health centres across various states in the country. KUALA LUMPUR – With the COVID-19 situation still of concern, Manulife Insurance Berhad (MIB) is once again stepping up to provide a helping hand in the form of free COVID-19 coverage for non-Manulife customers. Available for enrolment online from 15 September 2021 to 15 October 2021, this free COVID-19 coverage provides a guaranteed lump sum payment of RM5,000 in the event of death from COVID-19. Registration is limited to the first 80,000 successful enrolment and is open to Malaysians and permanent residents of Malaysia, aged 21 to 60 years old. They must not hold any Manulife insurance policies to enjoy this coverage.

Kuala Lumpur − Manulife Holdings Berhad (MHB), in its 44th Annual General Meeting held on 26 June 2020, reported sustained healthy business growth for the full-year 2019, despite challenging macro environment and market conditions last year. During the period under review, the Group’s operating revenue in Malaysia recorded a year-on-year growth of 6.9% in 2019 to RM1,304.1 million, generating a pre-tax profit of RM38.4 million for MHB, up 0.2% from 2018.

Kuala Lumpur - Manulife Insurance Berhad (MIB) has announced that the company is providing a special financial assistance to customers diagnosed with COVID-19.
This financial assistance is on top of the company’s recent announcement on 31 January 2020 stating that customers who are seeking treatment related to COVID-19 within Malaysia will be covered by the company’s medical plans. The company will also waive the 30-day waiting period for medical policies issued or reinstated before 30 January 2020 and extend the grace period to 90 days for policyholders who are diagnosed with COVID-19.

Kuala Lumpur – Manulife Holdings Bhd (Manulife) today officiated its namesake railway station, the Manulife Semantan MRT station.
The five-year contract includes the station name and the display of its name on station routes in all 31 MRT stations along the MRT1 (Sungai Buloh–Kajang) line. It was previously reported that successful licensees were chosen based on the highest bids with licensing fees starting at RM1.5 million per year for a minimum of three years, or RM1.2 million per year for at least five years.
