We Care About Your Safety: Be Aware of Scams

 

Your security is our utmost priority, and we want to help you stay protected against potential scams. Unfortunately, there are instances where individuals may pose as representatives of our company, using our name, address, or staff identities to deceive you into providing personal or banking information, as well as collection of premiums on behalf of Manulife.


Please know that Manulife Malaysia will never ask you to share or update your personal or banking details over the phone or through third parties. 

To help keep your information safe, we suggest the following:

  • Stay cautious of unexpected communications, whether they come as phone calls, texts, or emails.
  • Be careful not to click on unfamiliar links or download attachments from emails or messages you weren't expecting.
  • Keep your OTPs and passwords private; never share them with anyone.
  • Take a moment to regularly check your bank and credit card statements for any activities that seem unusual.
  • If you ever feel your credit card information may be at risk, we encourage you to reach out to your card issuer right away.
  • Additionally, we will not instruct our agents to collect cash payments from you for your policy premiums. All payments should be made through official channels directly to Manulife Malaysia such as recurring credit/debit payment and through Manulife customer portal, Manulife Online www.manulife.com.my/manulifeonline
