At Manulife, we understand that the comfort of your own home can be the best place for your recovery from an illness. That’s why we’ve partnered with SPEEDOC to bring you the Home-Ward Programme - a home-based medical service designed to help you recover quickly and comfortably.

What is Home-Ward Programme

Administered by SPEEDOC, the Home-Ward Programme dispatches a dedicated medical team right to your doorstep. They provide close monitoring and treatment for Eligible Illnesses, allowing you to focus on getting better in the familiar surroundings of your own homes.

Home visits by doctor and nurse(s)

Provide home treatment, therapy and support

24/7 SPEEDDOC customer care hotline

Provide assistance with hospital admission (including issuing referral arrangement if necessary)

Who is eligible?

Home-Ward Programme is available to all Manulife customers with a medical plan, residing in Klang Valley who minimally adheres to ALL conditions below:

Aged between 16 to 59 years old for Dengue

Aged between 10 to 70 years old for Gastroenteritis, URTI and LRTI

Not immunocompromised3

Well controlled comorbidity4

Have at least (1) one family member or caregiver at home

Able to perform activities or daily living5 ("ADL")

Not pregnant

3Not having an impaired immune system. The immune system may be impaired by diseases and medications. Conditions that can impact the immune system include diabetes mellitus, disease of the immune system, cancer. 

4Comorbidity occurs when a person has underlying medication condition. Condition described as comorbidities are often chronic or long-term conditions. Examples included diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidaemia. 

5Fundamental skills required to independently care for oneself, such as eating, bathing, and mobility

Just dial our MiCare hotline at 1 300 88 0100 and select option “2” for the Home-Ward Programme. After a quick verification, you will be assigned to a video consultation with a SPEEDOC doctor via SPEEDOC mobile app.
